Performs With Stipe and Bono |
[29-10-01] |
Moby participated in
the Beastie Boys' "New Yorkers Against Violence" benefit concert held at New
York's Hammerstein Ballroom. The proceeds from the two night event were slated to benefit
those affected by last month's attacks on the World Trade Center. Moby,
equipped with an acoustic guitar, and Stipe delivered an airy serenade of the Velvet
Underground's "All Tomorrow's Parties." Moby, seated, then strummed the chords
of Neil Young's "Helpless" as Stipe waved in Bono from stage left.

Moby
will take a part in MTV video music award |
[23-08-01] |
Moby has
been nominated for a 'best male performer' video music award at this years mtv-vma's. He
was nominated for the same award last year and he lost to eminem. Consequently he doesn't
really expect to win this year, either. Which is o.k with him, he's just happy to be
nominated... which is what everyone says when they know they're going to lose.
